ECOFLOW RIVER 3 MAX

EcoFlow RIVER 3 Max - Compact Backup Power for Home and Outdoor Use

The EcoFlow RIVER 3 Max Portable Power Station is designed for users who need reliable portable electricity for essential devices, home-office equipment and selected small appliances. With a combined battery capacity of 572Wh and rated AC output of 600W, it offers additional energy storage compared with the standard RIVER 3 Plus.

The RIVER 3 Max combines the RIVER 3 Plus power station with an EB300 Smart Extra Battery. This configuration provides more stored energy while retaining the portable design and versatile charging options of the RIVER 3 series.

572Wh Battery Capacity for Longer Runtime

With 572Wh of combined battery capacity, the RIVER 3 Max can support compatible devices such as Wi-Fi routers, laptops, LED lights, smartphones and selected low-power appliances.

Actual runtime depends on the connected devices, their power consumption, inverter efficiency and the energy available from the battery. For extended use, consider the wattage of each appliance and the total number of hours you need backup power.

600W Rated Output with X-Boost Technology

The RIVER 3 Max provides 600W of rated AC output across three AC outlets, allowing compatible devices to operate simultaneously within the power station's total output limit.

EcoFlow's X-Boost technology can support selected appliances with power requirements above the standard 600W rating, up to the advertised 1200W level under compatible conditions. X-Boost does not guarantee that every appliance rated above 600W will operate normally. Check appliance compatibility and startup requirements before use.

LFP Battery Technology and Long Service Life

The power station uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP or LiFePO4) battery chemistry. EcoFlow specifies a cycle life of 3000 cycles before the battery retains approximately 80% of its original capacity under stated testing conditions.

Actual battery longevity depends on temperature, charging habits, usage patterns and storage conditions.

Multiple Charging Options

The RIVER 3 Max supports AC charging, solar charging, car charging and compatible generator charging. EcoFlow specifies AC input up to 650W and solar input up to 220W.

Under specified conditions, AC charging can take approximately 1.3 hours for a full recharge, while solar charging can take approximately 3.2 hours at the stated maximum input. Real-world charging times vary according to the power source, sunlight, temperature and battery condition.

USB-C Charging and Multiple Output Ports

The RIVER 3 Max includes a USB-C port capable of delivering up to 100W to compatible devices, making it suitable for supported laptops, tablets and smartphones. Two USB-A ports provide additional charging options, while three AC outlets support compatible appliances and electronic equipment.

A 12V car output is also available for compatible DC devices. Check the voltage, wattage and connector requirements of each device before connecting it.

UPS Function for Computers and Networking Equipment

The RIVER 3 Max offers a UPS switching time of less than 10 milliseconds under specified conditions. This feature can help maintain power to compatible computers, routers and other electronic equipment during brief interruptions.

It should not be assumed to replace every dedicated UPS system. Confirm that connected equipment can tolerate the transfer time, especially for critical applications.

Portable Design for Everyday Backup

Weighing approximately 8.4kg, the RIVER 3 Max is designed for portability around the home, office, campsite and other locations where backup electricity is needed. Its combined power station and extra-battery configuration provides more energy storage than the RIVER 3 Plus alone.

For Nigerian households and small businesses, it can support selected essential electronics during outages, provided their combined power consumption stays within the unit's limits.
